HISTORY

Lawton Construction is a family-owned and operated small business that services residential clients in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. Neal Lawton, the founder and owner of Lawton Construction, began working in the construction business in 1989 framing houses in New Braunfels, TX. Since then, he has become a master tradesman in flooring installation, wood craftsmanship, painting, and many other residential construction areas. Lawton Construction has worked with several of the Large Home Builders in the area including Grand Homes, Legacy Homes, and Goodman Homes and even appeared on an episode of HGTV’s Young Designer Challenge (the one with Mary Carel as the designer) where his carpentry skills were utilized in building bedroom furniture. Lawton Construction was the sole DFW Flooring Installation Company for iFloor.com prior to their company restructuring in December 2008. Our company was just awarded the 2009 Super Service Award for flooring project excellence from Angie's List and was featured as an Honor Roll company for their January 2009 edition of the DFW Best and Worst Contractors of 2008.
